Methodological Issues in Evaluating the Efficiency of Core Road Networks in Tourism and Resort Agglomerations
Abstract
A methodological approach for assessing the efficiency of core road networks in tourism and resort agglomerations is developed. This includes formulating methods for creating and distributing transport demand, analyzing supply in resort clusters, developing scenario-based forecasts of infrastructure loading, and outlining measures to reduce road network pressure and environmental and social impacts.
