Author Guidelines

Common Requirements for Text:

- Materials should be submitted in electronic format.

- Article length should be 10,000-20,000 characters with spaces (3-7 pages in Word format with 12-point font and single spacing).

- The first page of the manuscript should include the UDC (Universal Decimal Classification), authors' surnames, article title, abstract, keywords, and scientific specialty. It is preferable to structure the text (introduction, chapters, conclusion).

- A bibliography list (not exceeding 12 references) is mandatory.

- Author information (surname, first name, place of work, position, academic degree, title, contact phone numbers, email) should be provided in a separate file.

- Abstract and list of keywords should also be provided in English.

 

Requirements for Electronic Version:

- Manuscript should be submitted in MS Word format.

- Formulas should be typed only in the Equation editor, while individual symbols and letters in the text should be typed in MS Word (not in Equation!).

- Figures and graphs should be included in the text of the article and additionally provided as separate source files (in .jpg format or the format in which the original image was created).

- Latin alphabet letters in figures should be italicized, while Greek and Russian alphabet letters should be in regular font.

- Latin alphabet letters in the text and formulas should be italicized, while Greek and Russian alphabet letters should be in regular font. Mathematical symbols like lim, lg, ln, arg, sin, min, etc., should be in regular font.

- Avoid using similar-looking letters of the Latin, Greek, and Russian alphabets, as well as custom macros and images for letters.

- Distinguish between the letter O and the digit 0; use the hyphen "-", the minus sign "−", and the dash "–" correctly.

- Long formulas should be split into independent fragments (each line should be a separate object). Only formulas referenced in the text should be numbered.

- Do not use figures and tables to place formulas.

- Each figure and table should have a number and caption.

 

Photo Materials:

- Photo materials should be submitted digitally via email.

- If scanning photos yourself, set the resolution to 300 dpi (higher resolution is unnecessary, lower will decrease quality).

- Do not convert photos from RGB to CMYK and vice versa. We will handle color correction ourselves.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscripts are accepted if has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

  2. The materials should be prepared in a format OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or World Perfect.

  3. Internet links are provided as a complete URL. 

  4. Text should be typed with an interval of one and a half line spacing, font Times New Roman, 14 pt; to highlight the accents it is recommended to use italics rather than underlining (except Internet links). All images, graphics and tables are placed within the text according to the meaning of the particular part of text  (and not at the end of the document).

  5. Text should follow the stylistic and bibliography requirements as stated in  Regulations  located in the Part "About Us." 

  6. Please, remove the authors' names from the title of the article and other parts of the document to ensure the  anonymity of reviewing.
