Abstract

The problems, initial circumstances and process of studying the possibility of launching promising schemes for the delivery of petrochemical products of the companies Zapsibneftekhim LLC and Tomskneftekhim LLC for exportto China are outlined, possible delivery options are identified, including with the participation of river transport and the Northern Sea Route. Technical feasibility study and SWOT analysis were carried out as the research method. The decision is due, on the one hand, to the congestion of the railways of the eastern range, and, on the other hand, a multiplier effect due to the switching of cargo flows to river transport and the availability of the possibility of further development of the NSR cargo base. As a further study, the most optimal route options were determined.

Abstract

Proposals for eliminating the shortcomings of the process of medical evacuation of victims in emergency situations are substantiated in terms of improving their loading (unloading) into cars, as well as protection from mechanical (vibration and shock) effects during transportation.The influence of vibrations on medical personnel performing professional manipulations while the train is moving is analyzed. To improve the loading of victims, it is proposed to equip the cars with sliding doors and hydraulic lifts. To minimize mechanical loads on the wounded on a military hospital train, it is proposed to use design measures related to both increasing the structural rigidity of the car body and actively controlling damping in the spring suspension of the bogies. To ensure the possibility of carrying out medical procedures, it is proposed to equip the cars with a vibration-isolated capsule with active suspension.

Abstract

The problems of positioning railway transport in the freight transportation market are considered. Based on the categorization of cargo transported by rail according to the level of profitability and long-term prospects and analysis of the structure of loading in the context of the relevant segments, it was revealed that low-profit, unpromising cargo has the largest share. At the same time, a tendency towards an increase in the share of highly promising cargo, including highly profitable ones, was also discovered. Taking into account the fact that the share of these cargoes, despite its increase, is still relatively small, it was concluded that consistent, targeted efforts are needed to develop this market segment. As a basis for the development of marketing activities aimed at ensuring the long-term competitiveness and efficient operation of railway companies in the freight transportation market, a matrix for strategic management of marketing activities in the field of rail freight transportation has been developed.

Abstract

The use of unmanned ground vehicles (hereinafter referred to as BNTS) in off-road conditions and dense vegetation is described. An analysis of the data obtained in natural conditions from various sensors was carried out, which confirmed the correct functioning of the BNTS technical vision system. The main goal was to determine the limitations of the perception system in off-road conditions. A search for a technical solution for object recognition was carried out by selecting various types of sensors. The possibility of practical application of BNTS was assessed.

Abstract

The types of freight and passenger transportation are considered in order to determine the potential of maglev transport for their development in the Russian Federation, taking into account the current level of development. The methodology is based on the analysis of the technical and economic characteristics of maglev transport, socio-economic and retrospective analysis. As a result of the study, the prospects of using maglev transport for various types of transportation in Russia are determined, subject to full import substitution. The study confirms that maglev transport has good prospects for use with in the framework of a single integrated transport system of the country and is an acceptable means of developing the territories of the Russian Federation and areas of insufficient transport services.

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to determine the most preferable ways to reduce the technical tare coefficient of universal four-axle gondola cars. Methods were used to compare the values of the technical tare coefficient of various models of universal four-axle gondola cars, and an analysis of possible ways to reduce the value of the technical tare coefficient was carried out. Finite element modeling of the loading of the load-bearing structure of a universal four-axle gondola car was carried out in order to evaluate loading patterns that are limiting in terms of strength. As a result, an analysis was made of the values of the technical tare coefficient of universal four-axle gondola cars certified in the period 2000–2023 in the “1520 space”. The following methods for reducing the technical coefficient of packaging of universal four-axle gondola cars are considered, such as increasing the permissible axle load, moving away from the universality of cars, and the use of new design solutions and new structural materials. It has been revealed that today the most preferable way to reduce the technical coefficient of packaging of universal four-axle gondola cars is to use high-strength steels in the supporting structure.

Abstract

The work reveals the scientific problem of increasing traffic safety at signalized intersections, within the framework of which the problem of increasing traffic safety at these objects is solved by reducing the intensity of interaction of traffic flows on the square and on the approaches to the intersection. Theoretical foundations have been developed that reveal changes in the intensity of interaction of traffic flows. The characteristics of the conflict area within the approaches and at the intersection area are given,taking into account the operating modes of the traffic light facility in order to further reduce the intensity of interaction of traffic flows.

Abstract

The purpose of the work is to study the interdependence of quantitative characteristics of the intensity of vehicle turnover in the parking lot, the occupancy of the parking space, the duration of their storage, as well as a number of deterministic statistical indicators of random processes. The subject of the study is the functioning patterns of a parking lot located on the territory of a large shopping center. The initial data was obtained using a hardware and software system for recording vehicle traffic, which allows recording the time of a car’s entry into and exit from the parking area. As a result of the study, the time dependence of the intensity of entry and exit of cars, the degree of occupancy of the parking space, the duration of storage of cars, as well as statistical indicators of the duration of their parking were established. It seems promising in the future to turn to the development of methodological foundations for constructing a model for the functioning of parking areas in the city based on identifying significant dependencies between the location of centers of attraction, the number of parking spaces, the degree of occupancy of parking lots and other factors. Such a model can serve as the basis for forecasting and long-term planning of the placement and use of city parking lots, informed decision-making on zoning parking space and determining pricing policies.

Abstract

The state of development of rolling stock with removable (replaceable) bodies in the domestic carriage building is described. One of the main problems discussed at various events dedicated to the development of removable bodies is their mounting on rolling stock, ensuring the safety of train traffic. On domestic railway platforms, the fastening of the container as a prototype of removable bodies is usually carried out by the interaction of corner fittings in accordance with GOST R 20527–82 and stops without direct fixation of the container on the car. An analysis of known technical solutions from different manufacturers for fixing containers on stops of special shapes and with additional fixation through a hole in the stop was carried out. An original technical solution for a fixing device is proposed, made on a flat car opposite each fitting installation location of the container.
